It would be almost impossible to have not heard of the Coronavirus outbreak that is gripping the world right now, or at least the problems in just trying to buy toilet paper!   Everyday we are hearing about the increasing number of Coronavirus cases across Australia.  All of this has heightened our awareness around the basic precautions everyone should be taking to stay healthy and safe as we head into the winter season.

The health and well being of our clients, our team members and all of your loved ones is of the utmost importance to us.  For us, preventing the transmission of the Coronavirus is no different than preventing the transmission of any virus.  We have always been vigilant about cleanliness and sanitisation, and are therefore well equipped to deal with this situation.

We are confident that our salons will remain a safe place for all, and therefore plan to conduct business as usual.  We will be increasing our emphasis on existing procedures, as well as taking additional precautions to help everyone stay healthy and safe.

For your reference our salons will be taking the following precautions to keep everyone healthy. 

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

1.  We will be increasing the frequency that high touch surfaces within our common areas such as doors, reception surfaces and the cutting stations and chairs of our salons are cleaned with commercial grade disinfectant for sanitation.
2. Hand soap and hand sanitiser will be available throughout our salons for use by our clients and our teams.  

Please be assured that our hygiene protocol has always been for our team members to wash their hands between each client.  Additionally, all tools, equipment and linens used for client purposes are for single use only and are washed after every use.  This is our commitment to you.

As we head towards winter and the ‘flu season’, for the protection of all of our valued clients and team we ask that you make contact with our friendly Sassy Hub team ASAP to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell.  This is especially so if you are experiencing flu like symptoms such as fever, coughing and sneezing.  This will help in ensuring that we all stay healthy and safe at this time.
